Lottie Mae Sroka

	Lottie Mae Sroka, 78, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at home.
	 Per Lottie's request, private graveside services were held on Friday, April 13, 2001 with Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville handling the arrangements.  Pastor Greg Maize officiated at the St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.
	Lottie was born on August 30, 1922 in Pinckneyville, the youngest child of Charles and Minnie (Loos) Heisner.
	She married Joe Sroka on March 2, 1946 in Pinckneyville.  They have remained devoted partners in this life for 55 years.
	To this union four children were born, all survive:  Chuck Sroka and wife Janet of Pinckneyville; Fran Dunn and husband Steve of St. Charles, Mo.; Joan Sroka of DuQuoin and Patty Louis and husband Nicky of Pinckneyville.  six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive:  Sherry Mohr and husband Ken, children Olivia and Audrey of Columbia; Kevin Dunn and wife Martie, children Stephanie and Erica of Jefferson City, Mo.; Joel Louis and wife Jeana, children Jacob and Jayla of Herrin; Keith Dunn and wife Milissa, son Joseph of St. Charles, Mo.; Wes Sroka and wife Sherri, daughter Julian of Sparta and Jason Louis of Carbondale.  She is also survived by her brother, William Heisner and wife Erla of Pinckneyville.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Marie Wildermuth.
	Lottie retired from the Pinckneyville Community Hospital after 31 years of service.
	 She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
	Memorials may be made to the Pinckneyville Community High School Panther Basketball Program in care of Don Warkins at the High School.
